AI customer assistant

CiaoBob's AI customer assistant is a tailored assistant that answers your customers' frequent questions — in chat or by email, even out of hours — based on your real data, and hands complex or delicate cases to a person with context ready. It is not a generic chatbot: it works on your content, does not guess, and stays under your control. The demo version is B0B, the assistant you find on this site.

01 What is the AI customer assistant?

It is a conversational assistant built on your company's data and tone: it answers customers' recurring questions (shipping, returns, availability, order status, service information) quickly and consistently, in chat on your site or by email. When a request falls outside its scope, or needs empathy or a decision, it hands it to the operator with the conversation already summarized.

Unlike a fixed-answer chatbot, it understands natural language and draws on your real content — FAQs, policies, catalog, procedures. And unlike a generic model, it does not make things up: when it lacks the information it says so and routes the case, so it does not give wrong answers on your behalf.

02 What does it actually do?

The assistant covers the repetitive part of customer contact and leaves the cases that matter to people. The main features:

FeatureWhat it does
24/7 answersAnswers frequent questions at any time, even when the team is off
Based on your dataDraws on your company's FAQs, policies, catalog and procedures, not generic knowledge
Escalation with contextHands complex or delicate cases to the operator, with the conversation already summarized
Honest about limitsWhen it does not know, it says so and routes: it does not invent answers on your behalf
MultichannelWorks in chat on your site and by email, integrating with the tools you use

03 Who is it for (and when is it not needed)?

It suits those who receive many repetitive contacts that overload the team — e-commerce, retail, distribution, hospitality, companies with many pre- and post-sale requests. The value grows with volume: the more frequent questions you receive, the more time it frees.

It is not needed where contacts are few or almost always different, or where every request needs negotiation and human relationship: there automation returns little. As always, the initial diagnosis tells you honestly whether it is worth it in your case.

04 How do you activate it?

You start with a free diagnosis of about 30 minutes: we look at your support volumes, the most frequent questions and the available data, and tell you whether and how it is worth it. From there we define the scope, connect the assistant to your content and tools, and pilot it on a controlled set of cases before opening it to customers.

There is no price list: the cost depends on the scope and the integrations. The rough estimate comes from the diagnosis, with no commitment.

» Start with a no-commitment diagnosis: we look at your volumes and frequent questions, then tell you honestly whether an AI customer assistant is worth it in your case. The case first, the number after.

How is it different from a normal chatbot?

A classic chatbot follows fixed answers to keywords. The AI customer assistant understands natural language and answers from your real data; when it lacks the information it says so and hands off to a person, instead of giving a wrong answer.

Can the assistant invent wrong answers to my customers?

It is designed not to: it draws on your content and, when information is missing or ambiguous, it says so and routes to the operator. The scope of answers is defined with you and verified in a pilot before opening to customers.

Can I try it before activating it for customers?

Yes. B0B, the assistant on this site, is the demo version. On your case, the assistant is piloted on a controlled set of cases before being opened to real customers.
